Can you teach me Sanskrit?/Do you publish only literature in Sanskrit (the language)?
No. We here at Sanskrit do not actually speak Sanskrit. The magazine really has nothing to do with Sanskrit, they just thought that it would be a good name for a literary-arts publication.

How often does Sanskrit come out?
We publish annually. The deadline generally falls on the first Friday in November.

Is Sanskrit still in existance? The official site hasn't been updated in a few years.
Yes! We still exist! If you find any old information, contact us and we will update you. We do not have control over the official website, so it really isn't the best source for Sanskrit information.

Do you have to be a UNC Charlotte student to be included in Sanskrit?
No, absolutely not! We pride ourselves on our worldwide submissions. We have thousands of submissions each year, and they are rarely from UNC Charlotte students. We would love to receive more art from around the country, even world, and since we now except digital submissions, it's definitely possible!
